Ingredients
- 0.5 cup mayonnaise
- 0.25 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 1 clove garlic – finely grated
- 0.25 teaspoon kosher salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper – freshly ground
- 4 ounces blue cheese – crumbled
- 0.25 cup buttermilk – cold
- 1 tablespoon chives – finely chopped
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, white wine vinegar, garlic, kosher salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Add the blue cheese and fold it in, mashing some of it against the bowl to create a creamy base while leaving some small chunks for texture.
- Whisk in the cold buttermilk until the dressing is thick but pourable.
- Stir in the chives.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors. Stir before serving. Keeps refrigerated up to 5 days.
