Brandy Alexander

Ingredients

• 1 ounces brandy
• 1 ounces dark crème de cacao
• 1 ounces heavy cream
• ice cubes – for shaking
• whole nutmeg – freshly grated (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Chill a coupe or cocktail glass in the freezer for 5 minutes.
2. Add the brandy, dark crème de cacao, and heavy cream to a cocktail shaker.
3. Add ice cubes and shake vigorously until well-chilled and slightly frothy, 15–20 seconds.
4. Fine-strain into the chilled glass.
5. Grate a light veil of nutmeg over the top and serve immediately.
